HHN Family-Friendly Mardi Gras Party
Hey Folks….Hilton Head National will be celebrating Mardi Gras and we need you to be part of the fun! The afternoon will start with our own version of the infamous parade, and every parade needs participants and spectators. Staff golf carts will be decked out in the trilogy of bright colors known to this festive occasion, playing familiar tunes of the spirited carnival as they pass by. Beads-coins-candy & blowhorns will be tossed to those eagerly waiting, from other staffers replete with their fantastical costumes. So put on your “Cray” and join us as we celebrate Lowcountry-style, the New Orleans tradition!
*If any guest would like to participate in the parade, you are welcome to. Deck out your golf cart and meet us on the side of main clubhouse, by site #70 @ 2:45pm.
Be sure to join us in the clubhouse after the parade at 4:00, for our costume contest. The “most original” decorated participant will be crowned Jester of the Mardi Gras, and will receive a special prize compliments of the resort.
And….The Hub of the Party, Billy Mac’s Grille, will be offering a Cajun Cuisine Entree’ as their special of the day, and cocktails of choice will be available at the bar. Of course no Mardi Gras would be complete without King Cake….it will be served outside of dining area, from 5-6pm. Cupcakes will be available too, come enjoy!
*Kids Kamp will be making tie dye shirts @ 11am, in the park. Youth size white t-shirts will be provided. Mardi Gras face masks will be handed out to each KK Camper when finished. Come join the fun!!
