Exploring and treasure hunting on the beautiful beaches of Hilton Head Island is a popular activity for both visitors and residents.

Join us for Discovery Night at the Coastal Discovery Museum and decorate your own shadow box to preserve your beach treasures and memories. Bring your beach items with you or add them later. Staff will also be available to help identify any mystery beach treasures you have.

Shadow boxes are 5×7 with a 7×9 frame. You are welcome to decorate a box on your own or work together with your family/group on one box.

Cost is $5/person (ages 4 and up) and $10/shadow box. All children must be accompanied by a participating adult. Space is limited; only registered participants will be permitted into the program area. For reservations, call (843) 689-6767 ext. 223 or book online at coastaldiscovery.org/calendar.
